The nose has good intensity and olfactory complexity with notes of ripe fruit and cherry jam, followed by hints of dried flowers that combine with light and pleasant notes of roasting. On the palate it is full-bodied with good structure, smooth tannins and a pleasant softness.

Red wine called U Prematicce Salento IGP

Product Details

Type: Red
Grapevine: Primitivo 100%.
Breeding System: Spurred cordon.
Production: 7,000 to 8,000 kg/ha.
Harvest: In cassette tapes - last week of August.
Winemaking: De-stemming and crushing under shelter from oxygen through saturations with CO2.
Maceration and Fermentation: For 7 to 8 days at controlled temperature (23 to 26 °C) with 2 pumpovers per day and délestage every 3 days.
Refinement: 12 months in steel tanks and 6 months in bottle.
Alcoholic Grade: 14.75 % v/v.
